I thank You, Lord, for my mounds of laundry.
I thank You that I have three people that you have brought into my life that make me a better woman, wife, and mother.
I thank You for dirty jeans that remind me of fun times digging in the dirt for worms.
I thank You for work shirts that need to be ironed, because they remind me of the wonderful job You've provided for Mike.
I thank You for all those socks that keep little feet warm.
I thank You for the colors purple, pink, blue, and black; they are the bulk of my wardrobe!
I thank You for clean sheets that help us to sleep soundly at night.
I thank You for my family. As I sigh over doing the laundry (again!), help me to remember my blessings. Help me to pray for them as I sort and fold.
Thank You, Lord.
Amen.

I'm right there with you, Sarah! Thank you for reminding me that I need to be thankful for laundry. Especially for the basket of ironing of Rodney's work shirts, because they remind me of the wonderful job God's provided for Rodney, which has allowed me to be a homeschool mom!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
Lori :)
